Allied Mobility is fully committed to offering a complete range of motor trade career opportunities. Our established departments within the company include an accident repair centre, a highly automated service and MOT centre, parts department and a successful defleet area where fleet vehicles are restored to their original showroom condition. At our Glasgow Head Office premises, we currently employ vehicle technicians (trainee and time-served), auto electricians, panel beaters, vehicle fabricators, vehicle assemblers and spray painters.
Since early 2003 we have expanded into vehicle production, coach building, and vehicle conversions. These new ventures have proved to be hugely successful and good quality trades people are always welcome to apply for any vacancies in these areas.
There is no doubt that if a career in the motor trade is what you aspire to, then Allied Mobility can offer you everything you would ever need. In addition to the traditional motor trade positions that we can offer, we also have the Allied Mobility Sales Centre who are responsible for all wheelchair accessible vehicle sales and for providing advice and support to all of our current and potential customers. Our sales teams are backed up by Mobility Advisors and Field Sales Executives who are based throughout the UK and in most cases work from home.
Like all successful organisations, we recognise that our people are our most important asset. Our commitment to employee development is unstinting and this was demonstrated in January 2004 with the introduction of our Management Development Programme (MDP). It is available to all areas of the business and continues for a period of 12 months. It has been designed initially for managers, supervisors and team leaders, however, it is available for anyone who wishes to develop into management at some stage during their career. Employee development is an essential tool in modern business and we believe that the MDP designed for our staff, is a great step in the right direction.
