Patricia and Stephen Hit the Road

Patricia Hare and her son Stephen, 30, from Calmore in Southampton, were in great need of a comfortable vehicle that could accommodate Stephen’s motorised scooter and contacted Allied Vehicles to see what they had on offer.

Patricia and Stephen chose the wheelchair accessible Peugeot Horizon and couldn’t be happier with their car.  “The Horizon is absolutely brilliant. As a driver I was used to driving an old, uncomfortable car but now I can enjoy the power steering and the great interior.  Stephen and I feel really safe whenever we go out in the car now”, commented Patricia.

Stephen uses a motorised scooter to get out and about and finding a car to accommodate his needs was proving very difficult but the accessible Peugeot Horizon has solved his problems. 

“Stephen’s mobility scooter fits into the back of the car perfectly and the restraints are so simple to use, which is great”, said Patricia.

The Hare family are already looking forward to planning trips in their brand new car.  “At the moment the Horizon is great for short journeys to get the shopping and as the weather gets better we’ll take breaks to the New Forest with the family,” explained Patricia.

Patricia and Stephen are also very happy with the help they have received.  “Everyone was great with us.  I would give the service from Allied eleven out of ten!  Stephen and I are chuffed to bits!” exclaimed Patricia.
