Free Wheelchair Winch Option

For those in need of extra assistance, an electric wheelchair winch can be included with your Horizon™ at no extra cost. The remote controlled electric winch simply hooks onto the front frame of your wheelchair. The hand-held remote is then used to help in pulling the disabled passenger up or safely releasing them down the wheelchair ramp.

Exclusive Wheelchair Access Ramp

No other mobility cars on the market offer a more flexible ramp solution than the Peugeot Horizon™. The unique FlatFold™ ramp, together with the specially lowered vehicle floor, provides an easy wheelchair ramp gradient. This exclusive wheelchair ramp also requires less space to unfold than other wheelchair ramps, which can be a great bonus when parking between other cars.

Unlike most other disabled cars, the Horizon™ wheelchair ramp can be folded flat when not in use, so that it just seems like part of the floor in the back of the vehicle. This is a great feature where the car is sometimes used without the wheelchair passenger, since you have a large, unobstructed boot space for those bulky items.

FlatFold™ comes as standard on the Horizon S™ and can be included in your Horizon SE™.

Disabled Passenger Security

Once inside the Horizon™, the wheelchair passenger feels safe and secure as their wheelchair is secured to the vehicle floor using the high quality, four point wheelchair restraints. The wheelchair passenger, like other passengers, has complete peace of mind thanks to full lap and diagonal seat belts.
