Margaret and William Holyman, from Walsall in the West Midlands, have found their ideal partner in their new wheelchair accessible Peugeot Horizon from Allied Mobility.
Margaret explains; “I was looking for a disabled vehicle that would allow me to travel in my wheelchair or transport my scooter if I chose to transfer to the car seat. Thankfully I came across the Horizon, from Allied Mobility, which meets all my needs. It’s made my life a whole lot easier.”
The UK’s most popular disabled car, the Peugeot Horizon is based on the Peugeot Partnerand is available exclusively from Allied Mobility. Margaret and William are enjoying getting out and about in their wheelchair accessible car. Margaret explains; “We have taken lots of trips to the countryside and love taking family trips with our grand-daughter, Alice.”
Margaret continues; “On longer trips I often transfer to a car seat and stow my scooter in the back. Being able to take my scooter has allowed us to make the most of our trips out. Now we can travel about as much as we like because William doesn’t need to push me in my wheelchair – I can just scoot about as I like.”
Owning a WAV has really changed Margaret’s life. She explains: “One of my hobbies is card making so I like to browse the craft shops and having the car lets me get out the shops and fully enjoy my hobbies. It’s also helped me to get to church on Sunday and visit my friends, which I haven’t been able to do for a while. I feel so much more independent now.”
Great Mobility Service
Margaret is delighted with her new vehicle and the service she received from Allied Mobility. “I received a great service from Allied. Special thanks are due to John, my mobility consultant, who came out to demonstrate the vehicle to me. He took time to explain the accessible features and was very patient. I couldn’t be happier with my new wheelchair car and I would definitely recommend Allied to anyone looking for a wheelchair accessible vehicle.”
