David James, from Merton in London, cannot thank Allied Mobility enough for his newPeugeot Horizon wheelchair accessible vehicle and the difference the car has made to his life.
Starting the Search
David was finding it virtually impossible to get around in his wheelchair with his standard car. His family were unable to help him in and out of the vehicle meaning that is was difficult to include him when they went out and about..
Then David started searching for a new vehicle that could accommodate him in his wheelchair and found the Allied Mobility website.
David said: “Lots of people had recommended Allied to me so I decided to give them a call.”
“Everyone was really helpful and the whole process was just so quick. A home demonstration was arranged and I signed up within a week,” he continued.
The Right Choice
After talking through his options with Allied, David chose the wheelchair accessible Peugeot Horizon as his new car. Making a Difference
Previously David was unable to get around easily and enjoy time with his family but with the Horizon he’s been able to visit the places he’s always wanted to.
David explains: “I was pretty much stuck in-doors for the past 18 months. My old car just wasn’t suitable and without an accessible car I didn’t have a chance. I had to rely on my son Rory to help me or I just couldn’t travel so I had no independence.”
“Thanks to my new Horizon I love going trips with Breida, my wife, Rory and our dog Teddy. We’ve gone runs in the car and take Teddy for a walk and we’re planning a family fishing trip soon in Dorking in Surrey. I haven’t been able to go fishing in 5 years!” exclaimed David.
David’s family also love their new car: “The guys think the space in the Horizon is fantastic and Breida has really seen a difference in me, I’ve so much more confidence now,” said David.

David can’t thank Allied enough for the help they have given him. He concludes: “The service was absolutely brilliant, everyone was just so good. My sales rep wasn’t pushy at all and he had time to answer all my questions and really help me out.”
