Allied Mobility is continuing its quest to provide the widest possible choice of accessible vehicles for wheelchair users, their families and carers, with the introduction of even more, fully wheelchair accessible mobility cars.
Earlier this year we announced that we were expanding our popular range of wheelchair cars and MPVs to include the new model Peugeot Horizon and the impressive Volkswagen Vista people carrier.
Now disabled users can also benefit from the all-new Citroen Presto wheelchair car.
Compact and Versatile
Nippy and stylish, the Citroen Presto comes complete with automatic transmission and is available now to buy, rent or through the Motability Scheme. The ultra-low Advance Payment of £695 even includes air conditioning as standard.
This compact and versatile mobility car is perfect for scooting about town and provides space for driver, wheelchair passenger and another seated passenger. What’s more, as a lightweight vehicle with a diesel engine, you’re sure of keeping fuel costs to a minimum.
Importance of Access
Of course, our Citroen Presto offers great access with a lowered floor, teamed with a lightweight folding rear ramp that’s perfect for wheelchair users.
Like all of the vehicles in our range, the Presto keeps wheelchair users safe and secure whilst travelling in their wheelchairs with a high quality wheelchair restraint system and specialised wheelchair passenger seatbelt.
Return of a Favourite
We’re also delighted to welcome the popular Renault Autograph back into the Allied MobilityWAV range. Based on the Renault Kangoo, the original model Autograph was one of our most popular wheelchair cars for many years. Now the ‘Auto’ is back and looking better than ever in an all-new model.
Also an automatic car and slightly bigger than the Presto, the new model Autograph offers bags of space, including plentiful headroom for taller wheelchair passengers. As well as driver and front seat passenger, you have the option to add up to two rear passenger seats, either side of the wheelchair passenger.
The new Autograph wheelchair car is available in a choice of models – Extreme or the top specification Expression. Both come with air conditioning and automatic transmission as standard and, with Advance Payments from just £395, value for money is guaranteed.
New Addition
Allied Mobility Sales Director, Peter Facenna, comments: “It’s important to us that wheelchair users throughout the UK have real freedom of choice when selecting a mobility car that’s right for them. At Allied, we understand that our customers have different access requirements and that’s why we undertake continuous research to help develop and produce suitable wheelchair cars and MPVs that meet people’s differing needs.
“We’re delighted to be able to add the Presto and Autograph to our mobility car range – which makes four new models this year alone. We’ve already had enquiries flying in for these latest models since their launch at the beginning of April. I’m sure both are going to be very popular and many customers will enjoy having a choice of wheelchair cars with automatic transmission.”
