Do you deliver used WAVs across the UK?
Yes, delivery is available through the UK. With Allied Mobility, you can get a used wheelchair accessible vehicle delivered to your home within 7-10 days, sometimes even sooner. Your delivery specialist will provide you with a full handover, demonstrating the ramp, wheelchair restraint system and wheelchair user seat belt so you’re completely comfortable using the vehicle.
How do I know if a used WAV will fit my wheelchair or powerchair?
Your mobility consultant will confirm this over the phone with you. They’ll assess which vehicle will suit you best based on the length and width of your wheelchair/ powerchair. They also ask your height when you’re seated in your wheelchair/ powerchair to ensure you’ll have ample headroom when travelling.
What accessibility features come with a used WAV?
To ensure safe entry, Allied Mobility used WAVs come with a slip-resistant wheelchair ramp. Once inside, your wheelchair/ powerchair is secured using high-quality and world leading Q-Straint wheelchair restraints to secure your wheelchair/ powerchair when travelling. A wheelchair user’s lap and diagonal seat belt is also included. Most of our used WAVs also come with an electric-assist winch to support with heavier wheelchairs/ powerchairs or if your companion struggles with their own mobility.
What additional passenger seating comes with a used WAV?
