Help With Paying, Mobility Finance, Payment Options
We offer several options to help you choose the most suitable way to pay for your vehicle.
The Motability Car Scheme is open to people in receipt of mobility assistance through Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment. The scheme uses your support payments towards the cost of leasing your own car. An Advance Payment will also be required – normally you are asked to meet this yourself but, depending on your circumstances, you may also qualify for an assistance grant from the Motability Charity.
You can also choose to buy a wheelchair accessible vehicle direct from Allied Mobility. You may simply prefer to own your own vehicle or it may be that you’re not eligible for the mobility benefits and therefore the Motability Scheme (particularly if you’ve reached retirement age).
Buying a new WAV direct from Allied Mobility means there’s no middle-man, so you get the best value available, direct from the UK’s leading wheelchair accessible vehicle manufacturer. We have a wide range of used wheelchair accessible vehicles for sale.
If you need to take out a loan to cover part of the cost, you’re free to choose your own lender. Alternatively we can help arrange mobility finance for you through our partner finance companies. These include specialist providers who can use disability benefit payments to meet your loan repayments.
Our Mobility Advisors can help talk you through the various options available – just give them a call on the freephone number at the top of this page.
Our accessible rentals are available for short or long term hire. We can arrange insurance for you or you can use your own insurance, provided it covers you for any vehicle. You can choose to collect your hire vehicle from our centres in Coventry or Glasgow or it can be delivered and collected direct to and from your door .
