Mobility Cars Impress at Glasgow Show

When it comes to choosing the right mobility cars there really is no substitute to seeing them first hand.  A recent event organised by motor dealer Arnold Clark provided a great opportunity for disabled people to find out more about a whole range of mobility solutions.

Held at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow, the event included a wide range of standard cars, driving aids and adaptations and of course the UK’s most popularmobility cars, manufactured and supplied by Allied Mobility.

This year’s event covered a massive 5,000 square metres and showed off over 90 different vehicles which are available through the UK Motability Scheme, showing just how wide the choice of Motability cars is now.  Alongside Arnold Clark’s vehicles, Allied Mobility showcased the popular Peugeot Independence and the Peugeot Horizon, which is Motability’s most popular wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The Motability Scheme has made driving more accessible for many people who have disabilities or reduced mobility, with low advance payments making it easier for many to own their own car.  Through working closely with Motability UK, Allied Mobility has helped make wheelchair accessible vehicles affordable for thousands more people across the length and breadth of the UK.
