Allied Mobility is delighted to announce the addition of another exciting new vehicle to our impressive range of wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Allied’s latest WAV conversion – the Fiat Freedom – offers increased comfort, class leading headroom and optimum accessibility.

Developed from the popular Fiat Doblo, the all-new Freedom is designed to make travelling with a wheelchair or scooter hassle free.  Fitted with state-of-the-art features including a lowered floor and lightweight wheelchair ramp, the Freedom has been built for optimum safety and ease of access.  The access ramp is easy-angled but, should you prefer an extra helping hand, you also have the option to add a remote control winch which simply clips to the front of the wheelchair, allowing navigation up the ramp with the assistance of a hand held control.

Standard features such as the height adjustable driver’s seat with armrest, air conditioning, radio/CD and electric front windows also make for a relaxing and comfortable drive.  In addition drivers now have the option of manual or automatic transmission, thanks to Fiat’s new Dual Logic gearbox.

Innovative Technology

Those concerned about their environmental footprint need not worry as you can rest easy in the knowledge that our Fiat Doblo Freedom mobility cars come with a Euro 5 engine as standard, offering exceptional performance, superb fuel efficiency and low emissions.  Fiat’s innovative new engine also features Stop&Start technology, which cuts the engine whilst the vehicle is idle, for even greater fuel economy.

With a stylish large rear window, metallic paint and body-coloured bumpers Freedom packs a punch in the looks department, making this compact but spacious vehicle stand out from the crowd.  With room for up to three passenger seats together with the wheelchair stance, the Fiat Freedom is ideal for couples or families.
