BBC Looking for Disabled Presenters

BBC Vision has launched a nationwide search for disabled presenters to take part in their new training programme.

The new scheme, PresentAble, will focus on discovering and developing new disabled presenters with the hope that participants will go on to forge successful presenting careers within the media.

Six to ten people will be selected to receive bespoke training from the BBC Academy following screen tests which are to be held in six UK cities – Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, London, Salford and Bristol.

Develop Your Skills

The training sessions will take place in Spring/Summer 2012 and will allow successful applicants to develop their on-air skills and compete for roles across the BBC.  The joint venture between BBC Vision Productions and Commissioning is aiming to find the next generation of talent and identify areas of genuine opportunity.
