On a scorching hot day in Birmingham, the team at Allied Mobility were glad to find some shade as we made the finishing touches to our display of wheelchair accessible cars at Motability’s The Big Event in the NEC. An exciting date in the calendar for Motability customers, the two-day event on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June was jam packed with visitors.

The Big Event is the largest event of its kind in the UK. Hosted by Motability, the annual mobility event attracts visitors from far and wide. From Ford to Peugeot, visitors could enjoy browsing almost 200 standard and wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs), all available on the Motability Scheme. They could even try a few for themselves by taking them for a test drive!
All Roads Lead to Allied Mobility
We brought with us five of our most popular accessible cars including the Peugeot Rifter Horizon™ and Ford Independence™. We were also excited to reveal to visitors the Ford Grand Freedom™ which had just undergone a sleek new facelift and upgrade with some brand-new features. Not only that but we had information and advice on hand with our team of mobility advisors, not to mention some great goodie bags for visitors to take away.
Catching Up with Friends
While it was a busy two days, we did find some time to catch up with one of our loyal customers, Kevin McKie. A long time Allied Mobility customer, he popped in to visit us and tell us how much he loves his Peugeot Horizon™. Kevin’s car is his pride and joy and he gets it cleaned every week so it always looks immaculate! He’s thrilled with the service he’s had from Allied Mobility and said the staff are always helpful and kind.
