Paul’s Got His Freedom Back Thanks to Ford Independence™

After an accident at work and subsequent operations reduced Paul Cooper’s mobility, the ex-fireman was determined to maintain his freedom.  Now, his rehabilitation has been made all the better thanks to his Ford Independence™ from Allied Mobility.  According to Paul, the spacious wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) has helped him get back to enjoying his life again.

Changes and Challenges

Five years ago, Paul, from Yorkshire, was enjoying his role working for the fire service.  But after a bad accident at work which required surgery, his mobility decreased drastically.  Eventually, Paul made the difficult decision to give up his job.  During this time, he had intense rehabilitation to maintain as much of his independence as he could.  He secured an all-terrain wheelchair and became an ambulatory user.  Paul then began the search for a mobility car that would suit him and his lifestyle best.

An Independent Future
