Did you know that every year we host four of our very own mobility days at fun and accessible venues across the UK?
Our South East Mobility Day took place on 7th August at The Historic Dockyard Chatham where we welcomed 220 guests and an excellent range of local charities.
What Do You Get at an Allied Mobility Day?
As well as providing an opportunity to see and ask our expert mobility advisors questions about our range of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) which are available to purchase, hire and lease with the Motability Scheme,
Our mobility days are a fun day out for all the family, providing FREE entry to an attraction, FREE parking and FREE refreshments. They’re also a great way to discover some fantastic disability charities and browse a range of mobility aids from our partner Mobility Solutions.
Smooth Sailing in Chatham
Home to old royal navy warships and over 400 years of shipbuilding heritage, guests sailed through the tides of history as they made their way around the accessible Historic Dockyard Chatham and visited our lovely exhibitors.
Tea, Coffee & Cake – On the House!
No Allied Mobility Day is complete without a warm welcome – with FREE tea, coffee and cakes on offer, guests enjoyed a moment of relaxation as they soaked in the atmosphere and filled in prize draw cards to be in with the chance of winning £1,000 later in the year. So, be sure to grab a card with your tea or coffee and fill it in at our next event!
A Fleet of WAVs on Display
Much like the ships that line the Dockyard, our fleet of 16 WAVs took centre stage. From the popular Peugeot Horizon™ to the latest Ford Independence™, our mobility advisors were on hand to provide vehicle demonstrations and answer questions to assist our guests in finding the perfect WAV for their journeys ahead.
For those looking for advice on the advantages of choosing a second-hand WAV from Allied Mobility, we also brought along some used WAVs for guests to browse.
Whether you’re interested in a new or used mobility car, ensuring you find the best WAV for you and your needs is our number one priority. That’s why we offer free, UK-wide, no-obligation home demonstrations where we’ll show you how to safely operate the accessibility features of the car and answer any questions you have about the vehicle – ensuring the WAV we recommend truly is the best fit for you.
