2010 Off to Flying Start

Applications for wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) from Allied Mobility reached a record high for January, starting 2010 with a bang.

Already the UK’s largest supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles, the addition of exciting new models to Allied’s WAV range has seen a further rise in demand.

January 2010 saw the total number of WAV sales from Allied up by 28% for the same period in 2009.

WAV Choice

The great start to the year shows that many more wheelchair users are benefiting from the diverse range of accessible vehicles on offer from Allied.  This year so far has seen the introduction of three new models to the choice of WAVs offered by Allied Mobility.  All of these models are available to customers throughout the UK to buy, rent or via the Motability Scheme.

The new additions include the new-model Peugeot Horizon, a stylish wheelchair accessible car available at the lowest Advance Payment on the Motability Scheme; the impressive Volkswagen Vista MPV; ideal for families and small groups and the Vauxhall Venture which provides automatic transmission at an affordable Advance Payment.  Orders have been flying in for all three keeping Allied’s own WAV factory busy through the winter days.
