2020 Partnership Announcement

Allied Mobility is delighted to announce their continued sponsorship of racing driver, Aaron Morgan!

Need for Speed

Aaron has been interested in high-speed thrills and competition since an early age and started off in motocross (off road motorcycle racing).  At 15 years old, he was involved in an accident during a race which resulted in broken vertebrae and left him paralysed from the waist down.  After the accident, Aaron tried various wheelchair sports but they didn’t have the same high octane buzz that racing once brought him.  Only one year later, he had passed his driving test and the dream of returning to a race track started to become a reality.  The youngest disabled person to achieve a National B racing licence, Aaron has been racing BMW’s since 2011 and was the only disabled driver in the BMW Compact Cup for the last five years, using hand controls to act as his accelerator and brake.

Joining a New Team (BRIT)

Now however, Aaron is set for an exciting new challenge after being snapped up to race for Team BRIT, a competitive motor racing team consisting of disabled drivers.  Like his Compact Cup days, Aaron will once again race against able-bodied drivers using highly advanced hand controls.  He’ll be behind the wheel of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 and a BMW 1 Series.

Aaron excitedly tells us: “The chance to step up to GT4 racing is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and one I am grabbing with both hands. Team BRIT’s hand controls are world leading and make controlling a car as powerful as their Aston Martin Vantage GT4 so much easier.”

(00)7 Years

Allied Mobility has been sponsoring Aaron since 2013 and we’re absolutely delighted that his hard work and dedication has brought him this exciting opportunity.  We’re sure the next time we see him he’ll be looking dapper in a James Bond-esc suit to match his new car!  If you’re interested in sponsoring Aaron, you can contact him on his website HERE and be sure to give his Facebook page a follow – @AaronMorganRacing – for all his racing updates!
