Each year we proudly host four of our very own mobility days at an accessible venue in the UK. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to not only demo our full range of wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) but to also enjoy a free day out on us!
First up this year was Midlands Mobility Day at Twycross Zoo, where we spent the day with customers old and new before they headed off to enjoy the free zoo entry.
A Paw-sitively Perfect Day
Home to over 500 animals from 150 species, Twycross Zoo in Atherstone is a conservation zoo and charity. Animals big and small (and tall and short!) roam the grounds, from tigers and giraffes to meerkats and geckos. Visitors commented that getting around the zoo and visiting the amazing animals was easy thanks to the wheelchair accessible grounds.
A Spot of Tea with the Leopards
Alongside free parking and zoo entry, our visitors enjoyed a free refreshment and the chance to relax, with some even entering our free prize draw to be in with the chance of winning £1,000 later in the year!
Don’t Feed the WAVs…
Having our entire range of new wheelchair accessible vehicles, which are available to lease on the Motability Scheme, on site was a highlight for those who came along on the day. From the UK’s most popular Peugeot Horizon™ to the family-friendly Ford Independence™, we had new WAVs there to suit various wheelchairs, powerchairs and additional passenger seating requirements. Mobility Consultant, Jack, was also on hand giving advice and explaining the advantages of choosing a second-hand WAV from Allied Mobility.
