Last week Allied Mobility held its Midlands Mobility at Twycross Zoo. The event was one of the busiest we’ve ever had, with over 1,200 people registering to come along! With the sun shining down over the award-winning zoo, it was bound to be a fantastic day for all.
No Monkeying Around
It’s always a great pleasure for Allied Mobility when we can showcase our entire vehicle range in one place. This event was no exception with eight wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) available for guests to view, alongside two used vehicles and our hire vehicle, complete with adaptions. We were delighted to show off all the services we are able to provide for disabled people.
Our Ford Independence™ was particularly popular with guests, as it showcased its extra capacity and comfort for passengers. This large WAV proved to be of interest for many families who joined us on the day, due to its spacious seating options, making it suitable for bigger wheelchairs and more passengers.
Our partners including; Q-Straint, Elap, Brig-Ayd, People’s Parking and Disabled Motoring UK were all there to showcase their products and offerings, giving visitors a lot to learn about. We were thrilled to have Coventry Wheelchair Basketball Academy along who showed off their skills and were even giving free taster sessions throughout the day!
Our mobility consultants were swept off their feet all day and that’s just how we like it! Guests were impressed by our ‘friendly staff’ and enjoyed the ‘choice of suppliers present’. Our vehicle display was applauded by many, with some guests citing that this was the first time they’d been able to view a wheelchair accessible vehicle in person.
We’re now looking ahead to our next Mobility Day at The Historic Dockyard. For more information, click here.
