Corky Kidz Around

Corky the clown proved a popular draw last week as Allied Mobility, the UK’s leadingwheelchair accessible vehicles supplier, attended the 5th annual Kidz in the Middle event.

Held at the Ricoh arena in Coventry, the one day event provided a unique opportunity for children and their parents, carers and professionals to view a range of products and services under one roof.

Dedicated entirely to children with disabilities, Kidz in the Middle brings together a host of exhibitors who provide products and services specifically for coping with disability, fromwheelchair vehicles and mobility aids to specialist schools and sports equipment.

Having a Ball-oon

Allied Mobility was delighted to attend and brought along two of the UK’s most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles, the market-leading Peugeot Horizon and the spaciousPeugeot Expert Independence.  Also joining the Allied team for the day was Corky the Clown, who made balloon models for children throughout the day.

Allied Mobility consultant, Darren, commented: “It’s always great to come along to shows like these and meet lots of new people.  It gives us a chance to show our cars to people who maybe didn’t know much about wheelchair accessible vehicles before.

“Our cars have some really clever features, such as the FlatFold™ ramp, so we’ve had lots of people coming to get a closer look.  It wasn’t just our cars that were impressing visitors either – Corky’s balloon modelling skills went down a treat with the mums and dads as much as the kids!”
