Experience the Freedom™: Key Features

The all-new Freedom™ is sleek yet striking, has an improved fuel economy, and delivers an eco-friendly performance. It is roomy enough for the family and with the innovative EasyGo™ access ramp, promises superior accessibility for wheelchair users.

Our Titanium model features a two-litre EcoBlue diesel engine with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. Featuring five original Ford seats and a spacious interior, Freedom’s™ ISOFIX second-row rear seats remain in place leaving the wheelchair passenger to travel in comfort in the third row.

The Freedom™ comes with a 10.25” Digital Instrument Cluster that lets you customise vehicle data and a colour touchscreen, connecting easily with your smartphone. Freedom™ is digitally-forward. You can sign into the FordPass App and monitor your vehicle’s location, driving data, real-time traffic and get vehicle health alerts.

Other features that make the Ford Connect Freedom™ experience super convenient are front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats and electric and heated door mirrors.

Keeping Accessibility in Mind

To deliver a comfortable and secure wheelchair travel experience, Freedom™ comes fitted with the unique EasyGlide™ flat-fold ramp. There’s also a built-in electrical winch for the use of the ramp, completely free of charge. When in use, the wheelchair is secured by high-quality front and rear 85kg, 150kg or 200kg wheelchair restraints as well as lap and diagonal seat belts that ensure safety.

The Ford Connect Freedom™ has been tested and certified to meet the highest automotive and accessibility standards.
