Allied Mobility is gearing up for the Yorkshire Mobility Day at the National Coal Mining Museum, in Wakefield, on Thursday, 12 September.

This new, FREE event features a host of mobility products and services, from wheelchairs and scooters to driving aids and mobility cars.  You can also take time to explore this fabulous visitor attraction and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

Meet the Family

Allied Mobility will be there in force with our entire family of wheelchair accessible vehicleson display for you to look at and test drive. Our brand new Peugeot Spirit and Peugeot Impulse will be making star appearances alongside firm favourites such as our popular Peugeot Horizon and stylish Volkswagen Vista.  You can also find out about our wide range of driving aids, boot hoists and other handy storage solutions.

Other key exhibitors include Motability, Disabled Motoring UK, Support Dogs and Kidz Aware, together with top mobility product specialists and local charities. To make sure there’s something for everyone, you can also enjoy wheelchair sport demonstrations andAaron Morgan will be there with his fantastic BMW racing car.

Travel Back in Time

The highly acclaimed National Coal Mining Museum is one of Yorkshire’s top visitor attractions. Travel back in time to the heart of a mining community and discover what life was like for coal miners down the centuries. Daredevils can brave the glass-topped furnace shaft, adventure seekers could descend 140 metres into the mine and animal lovers can meet the colliery ponies!
