Driving in Your Wheelchair
If you’re a wheelchair user and looking to drive in your wheelchair, Vision™ is the ideal accessible car for you. By removing and stowing the original driver seat, space is created for your manual or powered wheelchair. Using a handy key fob, your tailgate is opened automatically. This also releases your low-gradient wheelchair ramp, allowing you to enter your DFW safely from the rear of the vehicle. Once inside, you’ll find superb visibility and an automatic safety system to secure your chair in place. If you’ve just started looking at cars you can drive in a wheelchair, it’s good to get expert advice. Upfront Passenger WAVs
If you don’t plan on driving and you would prefer to travel in the upfront position alongside the driver in your wheelchair, Vision™ is the choice for you. With the original front passenger seat easily removed, a wheelchair or powerchair can enter by the rear access ramp and move right up to the forward position. An independent automatic safety system or four-point tie downs can be used to secure your chair in place. A full lap and diagonal seatbelt also ensures a safe and comfortable journey.

Whether you’re driving in your wheelchair or travelling next to the driver in your wheelchair, you’ll be doing it in style as Vision™ comes in the impressive Titanium specification as standard. That includes an 8” colour touch screen with Ford AppLink, 17” alloy wheels and front and rear air conditioning. That’s in additional to the brilliant safety features of a colour reversing camera and parking sensors.
