At Allied Mobility, we’ve spent over 30 years designing mobility vehicles that put the needs of wheelchair users at the forefront and Ford Valeso™ is no exception.
Equipped with a low gradient, lightweight ramp and electric-assist winch (which comes as standard in all our passenger WAVs), Valeso™ offers wheelchair users smooth vehicle entry and exit.
The electric-assist winch is especially convenient for manual wheelchair users as it serves to gently guide you up and down the WAV’s ramp while supporting of your weight. This makes entry and exit of Valeso™ less physically demanding for both you and your carer or companion.
Enjoy added reassurance when entering the vehicle thanks to Valeso’s™ integrated LED channel lighting, which brightens the interior for improved visibility. Safety is further enhanced by the Safestep R12 slip‑resistant flooring which has the added benefit of being easy to clean and maintain.
Once inside Valeso™, the wheelchair user is secured by high quality Q’Straint wheelchair restraints and a lap and diagonal seat belt for a safe and comfortable journey.
Practical Seating layouts
Valeso™ and eValeso™ are available as a short wheelbase RE model that positions the wheelchair user between one or two second‑row ISOFIX seats, making this WAV ideal for those who may need medical support or for families travelling with young children.
