Kidz North Goes off with a Bang

Allied Mobility was delighted to be in attendance at the latest Kidz North show, with two of our most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles on display.

Held in Manchester for the first time, at the new Event City venue, the show attracted a record turn out of over 3,440 people.  The free event is part of an annual series that takes place up and down the country, specifically aimed at children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

A consistent supporter of the Kidz shows, Allied Mobility took along the UK’s two most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles.  Top of the bill was the the best-selling Peugeot Horizon™. Horizon offers a host of exciting features, including its unique FlatFold™ ramp combined with one of the lowest Advance Payments on the Motability Cars Scheme.  People also flocked to see our Peugeot Independence™.  This wheelchair accessible people carrier offers a wide choice of seating layouts and vital extra space for larger families or small groups.

Our expert mobility advisors were also on hand all day to provide information, answer questions and arrange home demonstrations.

Brilliant Balloons

This year we were joined by fantastic balloon artist, Lisa.  She was kept busy creating brilliant and imaginative balloon characters that were popular with children, teenagers and adults alike!  Lucky visitors to our stand were delighted to see her fashion everything from Minnie Mouse to Spiderman.  She certainly managed to keep the kids enthralled whilst the grown-ups found out more about the wheelchair accessible vehicles on display.

Kidz North this year boasted over 120 exhibitors, displaying everything from toys to transport. There was even a surprise early appearance from Santa and his elves, who delighted young visitors as they came in and provided plenty of great photo opportunities.
