Kidz to Adultz 2016

Allied Mobility was once again in attendance at Kidz to Adultz North, with two of our most popular wheelchair accessible vehicles on display. The annual event is free and part of a number of shows organised by Disabled Living which take place all over the country.

Held at Manchester’s EventCity, the show boasted its highest attendance ever with 3,917 visitors pouring through the doors.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

The UK’s most popular wheelchair accessible vehicle Peugeot Horizon™ and its host of exciting features had people flocking to the Allied Mobility stand. Horizon™ offers one of the lowest Advance Payments on the Motability Cars Scheme and is ideal for able-bodied and wheelchair passengers alike.

The new Ford Independence™ was also on display and is a great choice for people looking for flexibility as it comes in an array of seating layouts, with room for a wheelchair passenger and up to six seated passengers, including driver. Independence™ provides optimum accessibility for the wheelchair passenger thanks to its low gradient EasyFold™ ramp, Independence™ also offers a helping hand with the option of an electric winch.

Last Event of the Year

With over 100 exhibitors, Kidz to Adultz proved to be a busy day for Allied staff.

Local Allied Mobility consultant Tim said: “Kidz to Adultz was our last show of 2016 and it certainly meant we ended the year on a high note. These events are always great fun and it gives us a chance to see lots of familar faces and plenty of new ones.

“Our vehicle display attracted lots of attention thanks to the popular Peugeot Horizon™ and the brand new Ford Independence™. Visitors were able to see a small selection of our wheelchair accessible vehicles. We were really busy with lots of visitors to our stand keen to ask questions and arrange home demonstrations with their local Allied Mobility consultant.”
