Minibus Mobility Winner

The Strick family, from Wigton in Cumbria, are delighted with their new wheelchair accessible minibus – the Peugeot Monarch. The short wheelbase minibus was adapted by Allied Vehicles, the UK’s leading specialist in vehicle adaptation. The Strick family need a wheelchair accessible vehicle for their 35 year old son, John, who has been using a wheelchair since a serious car accident ten years ago.

John’s father, Barry Strick, commented: “After looking around every company that adapts minibuses for wheelchair access we chose the Peugeot Monarch. It’s ideal for us.

“We had a Renault Trafic before but now we really benefit from the space inside the new vehicle.”

The flexible seating in the Monarch provides for a rear facing passenger seat which makes it easier for two people to interact with the wheelchair passenger.

“The Monarch is very well converted. I’d definitely recommend it to others. We found out about Allied Vehicles on the internet and were very happy with the service. We often go on short journeys, for example hospital visits and this minibus is ideal for us” added Barry.
