Clients with learning difficulties from the Thomas More Project in Bristol are enjoying getting out and about in their new 11 seater minibus supplied by Allied Vehicles. The Thomas More Project run a charitable residential care home with 11 clients.
“We’ve been in operation for 23 years,” explained Deputy Manager Janet Smith “and some of our clients have been with us since day one!”
The vehicle is a Peugeot Monarch, adapted specially by Allied Vehicles to provide safe and convenient access for wheelchair users, travelling alongside able-bodied passengers.
“Our clients love the Monarch,” continued Janet. It’s a very spacious minibus with plenty of room. We use it daily to run clients to college and evening classes. We also use our minibus to go on holiday. We recently had an excellent trip to Ireland and we’ve been to Devon and Cornwall too. The staff also think it’s great and enjoy driving it.”
“Allied Vehicles provided us with a very competitive quote and we were pleased with their customer service,” added Janet.
