Renault Autograph Now Launched

Allied Vehicles, a leading specialist in vehicle adaptation, is pleased to announce the launch of their first fully automatic wheelchair accessible vehicle – the Renault Autograph.

Adapted at Allied Vehicles’ purpose-built premises, the Autograph is one of a kind. With a specially lowered floor the Autograph is designed to make access in and out of the vehicle as easy as possible for the wheelchair passenger. With the assistance of a hand held remote operated electric winch, the wheelchair occupant is easily manoeuvred up the one piece folding ramp. Once inside, the wheelchair passenger feels safe and secure with a three point seatbelt and the deluxe four point restraint system with automatic tensioning.

The 60/40 seating arrangement means the Autograph is versatile and comfortably accommodates one wheelchair passenger, two seated passengers and driver. There is also the option of having driver plus four seated passengers.

Based on the Renault Kangoo with the 1.6 16V 95bhp petrol engine and four speed automatic gearbox the Autograph is a pleasure to drive. Servicing frequency has been extended to 18,000 miles meaning reduced maintenance costs.  The Autograph also delivers reduced fuel consumption which is not only economical but also means less pollutant emissions.
