Iain Bruce, who works within the Transport Services Department for the council said: ‘Allied Vehicles were recommended to us by another manufacturer who couldn’t supply vehicles this far north. We had a look at their range of vehicles and found the Horizon to be the most suitable for us.

Features

Available exclusively from Allied Vehicles the Horizon is specially adapted from the Peugeot Partner to safely transport one wheelchair user travelling in their chair. Features of the Horizon include a lowered floor for optimum accessibility, a remote electric winch system to assist the wheelchair passenger up the ramp and a four point wheelchair restraint system to safely secure the wheelchair in place.
