Phew! What a busy event season it’s been here at Allied Mobility. As well as attending Motability events across the country, we also host four of our own Mobility Days offering customers the opportunity to have a nosey around our range of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) while gaining free entry to an attraction, free refreshments and free parking.
Each Mobility Day also provides our brilliant customers with the chance to win £1,000*, discover some fantastic disability charities, and browse a range of mobility aids from our partner Mobility Solutions.
This year the Allied team had a fantastic time catching up with customers at some top UK attractions where we showcased our all-new Ford Independence™ and the impressive Ford Independence™ Twin which can carry two wheelchairs and up to seven people!
North West Mobility Day
Our year started on a high as we kicked off the Mobility Day calendar at the Concorde Conference Centre in Manchester, where our wonderful customers had the opportunity to have all their WAV questions answered directly under the wings of the world-famous Concorde.
As well as having free entry to look at the first supersonic passenger-carrying commercial airplane, customers could also browse our entire range of WAVs up close and personal.
South East Mobility Day

From flying high with the Concorde to chilling out with some lazy meerkats, our second Mobility Day took us to Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park.
Amongst the gorgeous floral grounds, customers enjoyed free farmhouse cakes and hot drinks, while some curious peacocks jumped the queue to view our wide range of WAVs.
After checking out our wheelchair accessible vehicles, customers could catch up with some fantastic charities like Great British Wheelchair Rugby and browse mobility aids such as wheelchairs, powerchairs and much more from Mobility Solutions.
South Mobility Day
Moving further south we popped on our sun cream and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge for our South Mobility Day.
Amongst many old race cars, buses and yet another Concorde, customers explored the transport museum for free before checking out the all-new Ford Independence™ and having their questions about our mobility cars answered.
After an entertaining day exploring cars old and new, customers enjoyed chatting with charities such as Aerobility and DMUK over some free cake and a cuppa!
Scotland Mobility Day
Wrapping up a fantastic year of Mobility Days, we finished the year at Riverside Museum in Glasgow for our Scotland Mobility Day.
Before being transported back in time by the museum’s cobbled street scene lined with old-fashioned shops, houses, and vehicles, customers enjoyed perusing our stylish and modern disability cars.
Complimentary refreshments were also on the cards to finish off what was a wonderful and fun day out for all the family!
Thank you!
As we reflect on the fun and success of this year’s Mobility Days, we wish to extend a huge thank you to the Allied team and all our wonderful customers for making this year’s events so special!
