Whizzing Down the Slopes

Whizz-Kidz Ambassadors Club recently enjoyed a fun day out at Snow Factor courtesy of Allied Mobility.

Snow Factor boasts the longest indoor real snow slope in the UK and offers guaranteed perfect teaching conditions and fresh snow every day – whatever the weather.

The Whizz-Kidz charity is dedicated to improving the lives of disabled children and their families in local communities. They believe that every young disabled person should have the independence and opportunities to reach their full potential in life and live their lives to the full. They are passionate about working with local leisure facilities and transport companies to improve accessibility and the overall experience for disabled young people.

The youth clubs can provide respite for parents and siblings while providing its members with the opportunities to make friends, have fun and gain the confidence they need to become independent adults.

Day to Remember

10 young people visited the Snow Factor resort and had great fun with Disability Snow Sport UK who were on hand to assist the Whizz-Kidz ski down the slopes.

Lyndsay Campbell, Regional Fundraising Manager for Whizz-Kidz said: “Everyone had a fantastic time and great fun was had by all. We can’t thank Allied Mobility enough for their generous support.”
