The popular Run with Rich event organised annually by disability charity, the Richard Whitehead Foundation, is set to take place on 27th September 2025 at Holme Pierrepoint, Nottingham.
With the aim of breaking down barriers and creating new opportunities for disabled people to participate in physical activity and achieve their goals, the Richard Whitehead Foundation run a range of projects and events to educate and inspire. The charity’s flagship fundraiser Run with Rich encourages participants to join double amputee and Paralympic gold medallist, Richard Whitehead MBE, for an inclusive and accessible 5k. Whether you run, walk, roll or cheer others on from the sidelines, the event is designed for all abilities so that you can ‘take part your way’.
Event Details
As well as hosting the Take Part Your Way 5K, the day also includes an inclusive Sensory 1 Mile and a range of activities with last year’s event offering face painting and live performances by Drumba and the Dako Flying Angels. To keep up to date with the plans for this year’s event click here.

Early Bird Entry Now Available
Applications are now live for Run with Rich 2025 with early bird entry available until 30th April.
This means that if you sign up now you will receive discounted entry with early bird tickets being priced at £12 for over 16s and £6 for 6–16-year-olds. The event is free to all children aged under five.
Anyone aged under 16 must take part alongside a responsible adult over 18.
Run to Raise Funds for a Good Cause
The event is not only a fun day out but also helps the Richard Whitehead Foundation to fulfil their vision of enabling disabled people’s ambition through sport.
