After a fun filled day at Aerospace Bristol for our South West Mobility Day, the Allied Mobility team have landed safely back home!
High Flying Fun
Aerospace Bristol is home to the last Concorde ever built and flown, alongside a variety of historic aircrafts and interactive exhibits detailing 100 years of aviation history.
Visitors enjoyed browsing our full range of wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) before stopping off for FREE refreshments to fuel their venture into the fully accessible museum.
What is an Allied Mobility Day?
Every year we host four of our own Mobility Days where we showcase our full range of WAVs at accessible attractions across the UK.
All of our Mobility Days provide FREE entry to an attraction, FREE parking and FREE refreshments, plus our expert mobility advisors are on hand to offer information and advice on our range of vehicles, which are available to lease with the Motability Scheme, purchase and hire.
For those looking for advice on the advantages of choosing a second-hand WAV from Allied Mobility, we also bring along some used WAVs to browse.
All Things Mobility
After having a nosey around our mobility vehicles, visitors can browse new wheelchairs, powerchairs and mobility scooters, as well as hear from a range of disability charities.
Joining us at our South West Mobility Day, was our sister company, Mobility Solutions and a host of partners including, RevoLOOtion, Jumbulance, DMUK, Q’Straint and GBWR.
Vauxhall Venture™ is Preparing for Take-Off!
Visitors were spoiled for choice at our Aerospace Bristol event with 16 Allied Mobility WAVs to browse and try out.
Guests were also offered a sneak peak of our brand-new medium-large passenger WAV, Vauxhall Venture™, which is due to launch in the coming months.
With space for six passenger seats and a wheelchair user, Venture™ is packed with handy features for accessibility, safety and entertainment, such as a lightweight ramp, an electric assist-winch for easy entry and exit and a 10” touchscreen entertainment system with wireless mirror screen and Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto.
With lots of happy visitors trying Venture™ throughout the day, we think it will be a fantastic addition to our range of passenger WAVs, so keep an eye out for updates on our social media pages and website!
