HomeStay™ Mobile Service from Allied Mobility is the perfect way to ensure your wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) gets its routine check up – right outside your front door. That’s right, we come to you! 

How Your HomeStay™ Mobile Service Works

Available UK-wide, our mobile service vans are fully equipped with specialist tools to inspect all of the mechanical and electrical components of your WAV as you would have them checked at a service centre. So, whether at your residence, work or a different location entirely, our qualified automotive mechanics can meet you there. They’ll examine things like your brakes and tyres, change your engine oil and vital lubricants if required and attend to a full list of checks designed to keep everything running smoothly.

Free Mobile Service Through the Motability Scheme

As part of your worry-free package, mobile servicing is included free of charge for Motability Scheme customers. We can visit you and service your Ford, Peugeot or Citroën wheelchair accessible car with our mobile service vans. For other makes of vehicle, we’ll help you book your WAV into your local garage.  

Alongside your manufacturer-scheduled service, which occurs everyone one or two years, we’ll also complete your free WAV safety check. This includes checks on your electric-assist winch (if you have one), ramp, the wheelchair user’s dedicated seatbelt and the front and rear restraints.

WAV Owners

If you own your own WAV, there is no additional charge for this mobile service. You will pay the same standard maintenance rates that you would at a regular motor dealer service centre.

You don’t have to wait until your service is due – we’ll note your details and take care of everything when your service date does come round, arranging a date and time that suits you for us to carry out your road-side service. We’ll even send a handy reminder of when your vehicle service will be carried out.
