When Arlene Met Peugeot Horizon™
Arlene Hutchinson spotted our Peugeot Horizon™ wheelchair access car on our website and it was love at first sight, “I wanted a WAV straight away!”, she smiles.
So, when Arlene’s mobility consultant, John, brought Peugeot Horizon™ to her home in Wales for a free demonstration, she was “over the moon!”
Previously, Arlene would travel in a standard car but was struggling to transfer from her wheelchair into the car’s passenger seat. Since taking delivery of her first ever WAV, road journeys have become so much easier for Arlene, allowing her to travel freely with confidence.
She says, “Once I had the WAV you couldn’t stop me! I can drive my powerchair into the vehicle really comfortably and then I can bring myself back out. I’ve had my carers take me uptown, take me shopping, take me down to Barry, take me to Porthcawl. I think the world of it.”

The WAV That Stole Lana’s Heart
For Northern Irish father and daughter duo, Paul and Lana, when it came to choosing Lana’s new WAV, it was Ford Freedom™ that caught her eye with dad, Paul, telling us:

In their previous mobility car, Paul had to push Lana’s wheelchair into the car manually, so one of their favourite features of their new Ford Freedom™ is the electric-assist winch which comes as standard in all Allied Mobility vehicles and serves to guide the wheelchair user in and out of the vehicle, making entry and exit much easier.
“It’s a new feature, we like it though,” Paul smiles.

Love at First eWAV for Frances
